Antony Gormley at White Cube

White Cube will be hosting artist Antony Gormley at their gallery next month. The exhibition will include new work by Gormley titled States and Conditions, Hong Kong, which will turn the gallery into a psychic and physiological testing ground using sculpture.

An expression of the dense and crowded space in Hong Kong, Gormley’s exhibition will be dispersed tactically throughout the gallery, including its stairways and its passages. The works will invite movement that will hopefully speak to the viewer and allow them to feel in a state and condition reflective of the city’s impenetrable areas.

Works that block the main entrance, encapsulate the entire ground floor or occupy the small transitional spaces of the building are sure to make for a surreal experience that will allow viewers to really be aware of their position in space and time.
